Mice and rats in your home
Heard scratching in the walls? Found droppings under the sink?
Mice come indoors when it gets cold. One mouse in the kitchen usually means a gap somewhere you cannot see. We find it, close it, and clear what is already inside.
What we actually do
- We walk the house and find how they are getting in.
Under siding, around pipes, behind the dryer vent, the gap under the garage door. Mice need about a quarter inch. - We seal the entry points.
Trapping without sealing just makes room for the next ones. - We clear what is already inside.
Placed where they travel, and out of reach of children and pets. - We come back and check.
You will know what we found and what we did, in writing.
Signs you have mice, not something else
- Droppings along walls, in cabinets, behind the stove
- Scratching or scrabbling in walls or ceilings, mostly at night
- Gnaw marks on food packaging, cardboard, or wiring
- A musty smell in a closed cabinet or closet
- Shredded paper, insulation or fabric tucked into a corner
Chewed wiring is a fire risk. If you are seeing gnaw marks, do not wait.
